Instrumentation Maintenance Specialist

As an Instrumentation Maintenance Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our plant by performing proactive and corrective maintenance on control and instrumentation equipment.

Your primary responsibility will be to adhere to industry standards, implement maintenance tasks, and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) related to health, safety, security, and environment (HSSE) and maintenance targets.

Upon receiving work orders and instructions, your duties will include monitoring technical matters related to gas processing facilities, wellheads, and flowlines, with a special focus on C&I equipment maintenance.

You will be involved in tasks such as instrument installation, calibration, testing, minor repairs, and routine & non-routine maintenance of various instrumentation equipment including automation control systems, measurement devices, final control elements, and control panels.

Collaborating with the C&I Senior Technician, you will ensure that all work orders are completed efficiently, documenting man-hours, materials used, spares consumed, and analysis codes.

Moreover, you will maintain plant equipment according to HSSE compliance and integrity standards to meet reliability and uptime KPIs. Adherence to safety procedures and task execution protocols will be essential elements of your daily activities.

To excel in this role, you are expected to have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience after completing an apprenticeship, with a preferred educational background in Industrial Electronics or Electrical & Instrumentation Equipment Specialist.

Proficiency in ICSS and CMMS systems, knowledge of oil & gas field instrumentation, and familiarity with various instruments and control systems will be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on control and instrumentation equipment
  • Implementing maintenance tasks and achieving HSSE and maintenance targets
  • Monitoring technical matters related to gas processing facilities, wellheads, and flowlines
  • Collaborating with the C&I Senior Technician to complete work orders efficiently
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in instrumentation maintenance
