**Pathology Operations Manager**

We are seeking a seasoned professional to drive business growth, improve quality, and enhance clinical excellence in our dynamic and innovative environment.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive business model for Anatomic Pathology services. This includes centralising resources and casemix at the cluster level to improve oversight, enhance quality control and assurance measures, strengthen clinical collaborations for clinical excellence, and develop sub-specialty clinical expertise.

  • Closely collaborate with institutions to harmonise cross-institutional workflows, conduct audits, and promote sharing and learning within the cluster.
  • Organise and present data to relevant committees and workgroups for strategic projects and initiatives.
  • Prepare and execute service agreements for AP services within the cluster and with other healthcare clusters or external laboratories.
  • Partner with clinical leads for planning, development, and execution of projects and initiatives effectively, efficiently, and sustainably.

This role also involves coordinating facility upgrades, partnering in improvement initiatives, conducting feasibility studies, and adopting new tools and technologies for pathology operations.

Financial Management:
  • Review financials, business models, expenditures, and savings to optimise financial sustainability.
  • Use data analytics to forecast growth areas, streamline workflows, reduce waste, and optimise resource allocation.
  • Ensure cost-effective use of AI-enabled Digital Pathology.
