Electrical Systems Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Field Service Technician to join our team in this challenging and rewarding role. As an Electrical Systems Specialist, you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and develop new skills and expertise.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Conduct on-site troubleshooting and diagnostics of all mechanical aspects, electrical circuits, control systems, and Windows PC interfaces.
  • Identify and resolve technical issues efficiently to minimize downtime and ensure optimal system performance.
  • Proactively assist with current and new product development and field testing and provide input on training.
  • Assist with the installation and commissioning of electrical and control systems.
  • Conduct routine preventive maintenance checks to ensure the long-term functionality and reliability of electrical and control systems.
  • Carry out repairs and component replacements as needed.
  • Provide support and act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to regional service teams.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date service records.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree or certification in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field is preferred.
  • A strong aptitude for troubleshooting electrical circuits, Windows PC interfaces, and control systems.
  • Prior experience in electrical field service or a related technical field is highly desirable.
  • Ability to travel.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
