Job Overview:

  • The GMP Group is seeking a highly skilled Logistics Network Coordinator to support our freight operations.

About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate with 3PL warehouses, freight providers, and stakeholders to resolve shipment issues.
  • Analyze documentation errors, cargo damage, discrepancies, and other challenges.
  • Prominently respond to inquiries and concerns from stakeholders regarding shipments.
  • Manage service recovery efforts, containing escalations, resolving conflicts, and conducting investigations.
  • Maintain performance metrics for 3PL transportation teams and freight providers.
  • Process enhancement requests related to operations and systems.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar capacity.
  • Demonstrated expertise in air freight operations support.
  • Availability to work weekends during peak periods for urgent shipments (remote support possible).
  • Excellent communication skills for effective responses via email, meetings, and phone calls.
  • Comfortable attending meetings with 3PL warehouses, freight providers, and global stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel to ALPS for warehouse visits and quarterly meetings.
  • Independent, responsible, resourceful, and fast-learning individual with a sense of urgency.
