About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned Production Support Specialist to join our team in supporting mission-critical banking applications. This role involves providing expert technical assistance, ensuring smooth operations, performance, and reliability of applications in production.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot automation scripts using Shell, Python, and PowerShell.
- Provide support for systems running on PCF, OpenShift, AWS EKS, and other cloud services.
- Utilize Splunk, AppDynamics, Dynatrace, Kibana (KQL) and tracing systems to detect and resolve issues proactively.
- Perform PL/SQL queries, scripts, and troubleshooting to ensure production stability.
- Manage and support applications hosted on Linux servers, ensuring uptime and performance.
- Lead incident management, perform root cause analysis, and ensure SLA compliance.
- Analyze Java and .NET code flows to support troubleshooting.
- Support deployment activities, coordinate with stakeholders, and minimize business impact.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- 4–9 years of Application/Production Support experience in large-scale environments.
- Strong skills in Shell/Python/PowerShell scripting.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, PCF, OCP, EKS).
- Hands-on experience with monitoring and APM tools (Splunk, Kibana, Dynatrace, AppDynamics).
- Strong proficiency in SQL/PLSQL.
- Solid understanding of Linux fundamentals.
- Excellent incident management, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
