Research and Development Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a Research Scientist. The successful candidate will have a strong interest in applied research and development, with a willingness to participate in projects across various technology areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Analytics, Cloud Computing, Cybersecurity, Immersive Media, and more.

The ideal candidate will be able to work independently or collaboratively with researchers, developers, and students to deliver project outcomes. They will also collaborate with stakeholders to understand user requirements and devise solutions, while supervising students on their final-year projects and performing lecturing duties for related courses.

Key responsibilities include conceptualizing and submitting research proposals to secure funding from grants and schemes, overseeing awarded industry and funded projects, and ensuring key milestones and project deliverables are met.

Requirements

  • Qualifications in Computer Science or related disciplines
  • At least 2-4 years of relevant experience in one or more of the mentioned technology areas
  • Experience working in technical project teams and proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C/C++, Java, or others
  • Able to think strategically and align with national and institutional agendas in technical research
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
