We are seeking a talented Operations Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the daily clearing and settlement processes related to our clearing services.

About This Role

This position plays a critical role in maintaining our reputation as a trusted and efficient market and clearinghouse for digital assets. You will work closely with our product and technology teams to define enhancements to our platform and improve the overall member experience.

  • Implement and carry out standard operating procedures (SOPs) with diligence to ensure error-free implementation of changes.
  • Provide operational support for trade settlement, digital asset and fiat custody, clearing, settlement, deposits, and withdrawals.
  • Monitor and manage trade lifecycle related to digital asset transactions.
  • Perform trade and asset reconciliation with our clearinghouse, clearing members, and custodians.

Serve as process owner for current functionality and provide critical support and input regarding enhancements to technology, workflows, and processes. Develop a strong understanding of our risk management tools and provide support for related clearing member needs. Interface with product and technology teams to improve processes where identified opportunities exist, to increase automation where possible, and support meeting the overall needs of our clearinghouse.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 5 years of experience in operations, preferably from banking / brokerage / fintech industry.
  • Previous experience supporting fixed income, currencies, spot crypto, derivatives or commodities products.
  • Experience working with exchange-traded and over-the-counter products and their derivatives, in a clearing, settlement and/or risk management role.
  • Experience with digital asset custodians and blockchain networks is a plus.
  • Substantial prior interaction with the front office and senior management in an active trading environment.

You should also possess:

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex problems and synthesize and implement workable solutions.
  • Be flexible working across different time zones in a 24/7/365 support environment.
  • Ability to provide support to Members in high-pressure situations.
  • Proficiency in both written/spoken English. Proficiency in Mandarin is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or another quantitative field or material equivalent exposure.
  • Strong attention to detail.
