AV System Designer

As a System Designer, you will be responsible for designing and evaluating audiovisual system setups, creating comprehensive engineering design packages, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.

Job Description:

  • Design and evaluate audiovisual system setups to meet client requirements.
  • Create comprehensive engineering design packages, including detailed build of materials (BOM) and functional connection-level drawings.
  • Collaborate with project managers, sales teams, and customers to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Organize and prepare demonstrations of proposed AV solutions for customers.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies in the AV industry to ensure cutting-edge designs.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of experience in the AV industry as a System Designer or related role.
  • Familiarity with manufacturers like Crestron, Extron, AMX, Polycom, Biamp, Clearone, QSC, and Cisco.
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD is a plus, but training will be provided.
  • Relevant certifications such as CTS are advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients.
  • Ability to work independently, multitask, and thrive under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Meticulous approach to work, with patience and efficiency in task completion.
