Software Developer/Programmer Role

We are seeking a skilled Software Developer/Programmer to contribute to the development of core banking applications using AS400 RPG ILE. As a key member of our IT department, you will work closely with operations and business partners to design and implement solutions that align with our organization's business objectives.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Analyzing system requirements and assessing their impact on our systems.
  • Developing and enhancing programs for core banking applications.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to implement solutions that meet our business needs.
  • Conducting and supporting testing of applications to ensure they meet our quality standards.
  • Evaluating code quality and suggesting improvements to maintain high standards of programming practice and security.
  • Maintaining effective relationships with IT, operations, and business partners throughout the system development lifecycle.
  • Coordinating production preparation and implementation with related teams.
  • Preparing necessary documentation to align with our development methodology framework.
  • Managing deliverables in a timely manner.
  • Providing post-implementation support to ensure smooth operations.
