Job Title:

Senior Director of Labor Relations and Governance

Job Description:

As a Senior Director, you will oversee labor relations and governance across countries in the Asia-Pacific region. Your expertise will ensure compliance with HR regulations and promote employee engagement through effective management of labor disputes and grievances.

  • You will develop strategies to drive short-term and medium-term goals in regional contexts, collaborating with key internal partners and country HR teams.
  • Monitor labor relations situations, provide guidance to country HR, and escalate labor threats and risks as needed.
  • You will lead audits and implement corrective action plans, working closely with Compliance functions to ensure due process is followed.

Responsibilities:

1. Labor Relations:

  • Advise country HR on labor laws and regulations.
  • Conduct investigations and resolve labor disputes.

2. Employee Engagement:

  • Develop and implement employee engagement strategies.
  • Provide training and advisory services to country HR on HR practices and strategies.

3. Human Rights:

  • Conduct Human Rights reviews and provide guidance on development of action plans.
  • Manage reports and cases concerning Human Rights and Human Resources.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, HR, or related studies.
  • At least 10 years of experience in Employee Relations/Labor Relations.
  • Profound knowledge in Human Rights and compliance with HR regulations.
