Export Logistics Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Export Logistics Specialist to join our team. As an Export Logistics Specialist, you will be responsible for providing operational support and process export documentation accurately and promptly to achieve business objectives and meet airline departure requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process export documentation accurately and timely for customers and meet customer requirements and airline flight departure cut-off.
  • Evaluate shipment events data and update shipment manifests in a timely and accurate manner to meet Operational Performance Audit objectives.
  • Ensure all shipments pre-alert documentations are sent to customers and destination offices promptly.
  • C Coordinate with Airlines terminal and warehouse vendor staff for any shipment dispute or discrepancy.
  • Communicate with customer service team on any issues pertaining to rates, destination, and shipping instruction errors.
  • Provide 24-hour service, including after-hours, holidays, and weekends, for urgent/Aircraft on Ground (AOG) shipments arrangements.
  • Required to perform shift work and rostered duties.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Minimum tertiary education with 1 year working experience in service industry and knowledge of airfreight operations.
  • Possess initiative with a positive and proactive demeanor.
  • Good organizational skills and a good team player.
  • Committed to the job and work assignments given.
  • Computer literate and able to handle Microsoft email, Excel, and Word applications.
