Christian Bassett is recruiting a Export Specialist for a leading European confectionary company.
- The "Export Specialist GTR/DIS" is holistically responsible for the export/ shipment coordination and customer support in the day-to-day business of the assigned Asia Pacific markets, located in Singapore office.
- The job holder acts as a central link for the sales and distribution process and ensures that the export orders are handled in accordance with the specified processes and requirements of the respective market and that the right products are delivered to the customer in the right quantities and on time.

Customer care & operational activities
- Customer care in the day-to-day business related to import/ export/ shipments, incl. process
- and performance management
- Export order processing in SAP R/3, incl. issuing of shipping documents, export certificates and invoices
- Coordination of international transports with customers, forwarding agents and our export warehouse as well as monitoring of shipments
- Liaising with the Controlling department regarding payment transactions and credit limits as well as processing of accruals and credit notes
- Maintaining customer master data and/ or customer-specific price lists
- Handling of any challenges with logistics or import duties and of customer complaints related to shipments
- Various clarifications and correspondence with Sales, Marketing, external service providers and government offices related to import/ export/ shipments

Projects
- Support of an ongoing APAC supply chain transformation project, specifically in the set-up and ramp-up of customer supply via a new regional hub
- Handling of smaller projects and initiatives for the further development of the performance of the Customer Service & Export GTR/DIS as well as participation in cross-divisional projects if necessary

Job profile
- Business education/ business school, with higher or further training as foreign trade-, export
- or logistics specialist
- In-depth experience in foreign trade and/ or international forwarding
- Fluent English skills (oral and written)
- Profound SAP experience and good MS-Office user knowledge
- Very strong communication and team-player skills
- Solution-oriented, responsible, and precise way of working
- Open-minded, flexible, and resilient personality
