Job Title: Senior Tender Quantity Surveyor

About the Role:

Tender quantity surveyors play a crucial role in construction projects, ensuring that costs are accurately estimated and managed throughout the project lifecycle. As a senior tender quantity surveyor, you will be responsible for leading teams of quantity surveyors to deliver high-quality cost estimates and pricing strategies that meet our clients' needs.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Study and analyze tender documents, including drawings, specifications, and contract conditions to develop accurate cost plans.
  • Perform quantity take-offs and measurements from drawings and models to ensure that all necessary costs are captured.
  • Prepare preliminary cost estimates and detailed cost breakdowns to support our clients' budgeting and decision-making processes.
  • Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders to obtain technical inputs and project requirements.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, and consultants to obtain accurate cost information and quotations.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a senior quantity surveyor in a similar industry or sector.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, providing guidance and support to junior quantity surveyors.
