Senior Vessel Operations Specialist

Vessel Management and Chartering Expertise is required for this role, where you will be responsible for optimizing vessel performance and ensuring compliance with international maritime standards.
- Vessel Acquisition: Identify and assess potential vessels for acquisition by analyzing shipbroker intelligence, market listings, and competitor activity.
- Vessel Evaluation: Evaluate vessels' operational readiness, trading history, classification, and technical condition to determine their suitability for charter or sale.
- Charter Negotiation: Lead negotiations for charter agreements, including rate structures, off-hire clauses, speed warranties, and fuel terms.
- Vessel Disposal: Strategize vessel disposals and decommissioning based on lifecycle cost analysis, route shifts, or market dynamics.
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Shipping Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 10 years of experience in procurement or shipping-related fields, with a track record of driving process improvements and cost savings.
