About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Systems Strategist to join our team. As a key member of our logistics organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to optimize logistics operations, improve efficiency, and reduce costs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize logistics operations, improve efficiency, and reduce costs.
  • Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Design and implement automation systems to streamline logistics processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement process improvements.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in logistics engineering, automation, and supply chain management.

Requirements:

  • Strong proficiency in logistics software systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, WMS).
  • Expertise in automation systems (robotics, AS/RS, conveyors, automated sorting systems).
  • Proficiency in data analysis and statistical tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau, R, Python).
  • Understanding of project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Jira).

Skills and Qualifications:

  • PMP certification preferred.
  • Lean Six Sigma Certification preferred.
  • Familiarity with radio frequency identification (RFID) systems, barcode scanners, and other inventory tracking technologies.
  • Experience with forklifts, pallet jacks, reach trucks, and other equipment used in the warehouse.
  • Class 3 licence with good driving record.
