Data Governance Engineering Manager

We are seeking a seasoned Data Governance Engineer Lead to spearhead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable big data solutions.

The successful candidate will be instrumental in creating robust data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows using SQL, Python, and advanced data engineering frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement secure data pipelines and workflows using industry-leading tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address evolving data needs and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Lead architecture discussions, including creating and reviewing ERDs, data models, and overall system design for scalable platforms.
  • Deploy, manage, and automate infrastructure using Terraform and other Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools to ensure reproducibility and scalability.
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for deploying data applications and services across environments.
  • Utilize expertise in AWS services to build high-performance and cloud-native data platforms.
  • Manage batch and real-time streaming data pipelines to ensure timely, accurate, and reliable data delivery.

This role requires strong proficiency in SQL, advanced Python development skills, hands-on experience with Terraform, and proficiency with CI/CD tools. You should also have deep expertise in AWS cloud architecture and services, demonstrated ability to create and evaluate ERDs, and strong communication and leadership skills.
