Job Title: Data Governance Engineer

About the Role

This is a challenging and exciting opportunity to join our team as a Data Governance Engineer. You will be responsible for ensuring that our company's data management systems are secure, compliant, and efficient.

Responsibilities
  • Create automated verification systems to help the legal department collect privacy governance facts and run data compliance checks.
  • Identify systemic risks in data privacy governance and produce reports on related areas.
  • Develop governance projects that can be directly utilized by engineering teams to improve project effectiveness and quality.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to coordinate with different global teams.
  • Proficient in using SQL, Python, or R with a solid understanding of data storage concepts and databases.
  • A strong passion for learning with the ability to take full responsibility for service end-to-end quality assurance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with Java, Python, Objective-C, Golang, and experience in related projects development.
  • Familiarity with Redis, NSQ, Zero-MQ, Kafka, Docker, K8s, Hive, and Spark.
