Responsibilities
  • Tax planning and strategic tax support for business expansion projects in the Asia Pacific region (excluding India).
  • Oversee and provide indirect tax, direct tax, and general tax advice on various transactions.
  • Manage strategic relationships with tax offices across the region, including managing and leading any tax audits or queries.
  • Collaborate with Government Affairs, Legal, and other key business partners.
  • Work with the Head of Transfer Pricing to oversee transfer pricing in the Asia Pacific region (excluding India) and intercompany relationships, including appropriate documentation and agreements.
  • Act as primary liaison with external tax advisors.
  • Advise and work with US Corporate and Regional teams in respect of the impact of tax regulatory and policy developments on business in the Asia Pacific region (excluding India).
Requirements
  • Degree in Accounting, CPA, or Chartered Accountant.
  • Minimum 18+ years of tax experience, preferably covering the Asia Pacific region, in Corporate and Transaction Taxes. Some industry experience highly preferred.
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience managing a team of Tax professionals.
  • Must be a self-starter, proactive, able to work independently in a fast-paced environment without close supervision and respond quickly to requests from management and business units.
