Job Title: Strategic Retail Expansion Manager

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive store expansion strategy for the Singapore market, leveraging market trends, demographics, and competitor analysis to identify prime locations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to set short-term and long-term goals for store expansion, ensuring alignment with the company's overall business objectives.
  • Manage vendor relationships to negotiate contracts, ensure quality control, and drive seamless construction and fit-out processes for new stores.
  • Coordinate with design and construction teams to provide clear briefs based on MINISO's brand standards, overseeing design and construction progress to meet the company's requirements.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with mall developers, property owners, and real estate agents to secure prime store locations, negotiate lease terms, and secure optimal deals.
  • Plan and implement new store openings from site selection to launch, developing detailed project plans, allocating resources, and monitoring progress to ensure timely completion.
  • Coordinate with internal departments such as marketing, operations, and merchandising to ensure a smooth transition from construction to store opening, providing necessary support and information to each department.
Requirements:
  • A bachelor's degree in business administration, real estate, or a related field; a master's degree is an asset.
  • At least 5 years of experience in business development, real estate, or project management, with a proven track record of successful store expansion or real estate deal-making in the Singapore market.
Desirable Skills:
  • Excellent negotiation skills to secure favorable terms from suppliers, landlords, and other partners.
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, set priorities, and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in using project management tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Trello).
  • Good understanding of the Singaporean real estate market, including knowledge of prime locations, mall operations, and lease negotiation processes.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
