Job Description

We seek ambitious and motivated professionals to join our Editorial Team in managing academic content for books and journals.

  • Manage editorial process from manuscript to publication, including liaison with authors, reviewers, typesetters, printers, and designers.
  • Foster positive relationships with authors, reviewers, editorial board members, key advisors, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • Research market trends and prioritize publications that best suit current market conditions.

Collaborate effectively across departments to enhance the commercial value of acquired titles.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Acquire academic content for books and journals.
  2. Develop and manage journals to improve quality and profitability.
  3. Oversee editorial processes, ensuring timely and high-quality output.
  4. Build and maintain effective relationships with authors, reviewers, and stakeholders.
  5. Conduct market research to inform publication decisions.
Requirements
  • Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Pure Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, or Statistics.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, analytical skills, and interpersonal skills at all levels.
  • Initiative, creativity, and attention to detail are essential.
  • Ability to execute duties diligently to achieve professional success.
  • Prior experience in academic publishing is preferred.
