Job Title: Senior Content Acquisition Specialist

  • We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Content Acquisition Specialist to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Acquire high-quality academic content for books and journals in Engineering.
  • Develop and manage assigned journals to enhance their quality, impact, and profitability.
  • Oversee editorial workflow from agreement signing to publication, coordinating directly with authors, production teams, printers, and designers.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with authors, reviewers, editorial board members, key advisors, colleagues, and other stakeholders to foster collaboration.
  • Evaluate potential titles to ensure commercial viability, consistent revenue streams, and alignment with company goals.
  • Conduct market research to track trends, identify emerging opportunities, and prioritize publications that meet audience demands and industry developments.
  • Participate in marketing and promotion activities for books and journals.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Science or Engineering preferred.
  • Candidates with non-science or non-engineering degrees will be considered if they have relevant experience in academic publishing or related skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities, analytical skills, and excellent interpersonal skills across organizational levels.
  • Demonstrates initiative, creativity, and attention to detail.
