Job Overview
The Head of Structured Trade Operation Control oversees daily operations supporting Structured Trade Commodity Finance business covering Singapore, Hong Kong and China markets. This role ensures business continuity, enhances service quality and drives strategic initiatives that align with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversight of department operations, ensuring efficient processes and high-quality delivery.
- Execution and monitoring of structured trade transactions, compliance with established procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Collaboration with stakeholders and implementation of robust support for new products and services.
- Development and execution of strategic initiatives driving operational effectiveness and productivity.
- Leadership in implementing key operational and business initiatives to enhance overall performance.
- Budget management and alignment with strategic goals and operational requirements.
- Performance management review to assess team performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Fostering strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and support for business objectives.
- Risk identification within department processes and implementation of mitigation measures.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration or related field, advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum 20 years of experience in Structured Trade Middle Officer or similar roles within the financial services sector.
- Strong trade finance technical knowledge and experience in international trade.
- Understanding of Structured Trade middle office functions and processes.
- Proven track record in managing teams and cross-functional projects.
- Excellent analytical problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing business needs.
Estimated Salary:$150,000 - $200,000 per annum
