Senior Leader for Structured Trade Operations

Seeking an experienced Senior VP, Head of Structured Trade Operation Control to oversee the day-to-day operations that support Structured Trade Commodity Finance business covering Singapore, Hong-Kong and China market.
About the RoleThe ideal candidate will have a strong background in Structured Trade Middle Office functions and process, with a proven track record in managing teams and cross-functional projects. They should possess excellent analytical problem-solving and decision-making skills, as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills.
This role is critical in ensuring business continuity, enhancing service quality, and driving strategic initiatives that align with business objectives. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing structured trade transactions, collaborating with stakeholders, developing and executing strategic initiatives, and providing leadership in the implementation of key operational and business initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee daily operations of the department, ensuring efficient processes and high-quality delivery.
- Manage in execution and monitoring of structured trade transaction, ensuring compliance on the established/review department procedures and other Bank's policies, guidelines, regulatory, governance, AML/CFT procedure and Industry Best Practices.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and implement a robust support for new products and services, facilitating smooth integration into existing process.
- Develop and execute strategic initiatives that drive operational effectiveness to increase productivity, support business growth and ensuring business continuity planning.
- Provide leadership in the implementation of key operational and business initiatives to enhance overall performance.
- Manage and monitor annual budget for the department and ensuring alignment with strategic goals and operational requirement.
- Conduct performance management review to assess team performance, set objective, and identify areas of improvement.
- Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholder to ensure alignment and support for business objective.
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional with a Bachelor's degree in finance, Business Administration, or related field, advanced degree preferred. Minimum 20 years of experience in Structured Trade Middle Officer or similar roles within the financial services sector, at least 5 to 10 years of experience in leadership and project management.
Apart from the technical knowledge, the ideal candidate should have strong understanding of Structured Trade middle office functions and process, good knowledge of commodity preferred, and experience in all areas of international trade. Excellent analytical problem-solving and decision-making skills, as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role.
Salary InformationThe salary for this position is estimated to be around SGD 250,000 - SGD 300,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
