Senior VP, Head of Structured Trade Operations Control and Strategy

The Senior VP, Head of Structured Trade Operations Control and Strategy will oversee the day-to-day operations that support Structured Trade Commodity Finance business covering Singapore, Hong-Kong and China market.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversight of daily operations to ensure efficient processes and high-quality delivery.
- Management of structured trade transactions, ensuring compliance with established procedures and regulatory guidelines.
- Collaboration with stakeholders to implement new products and services, facilitating smooth integration into existing processes.
- Development and execution of strategic initiatives to drive operational effectiveness and increase productivity.
- Leadership in implementing key operational and business initiatives to enhance overall performance.
- Budget management and monitoring for the department, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
- Performance management review to assess team performance and identify areas for improvement.
The Group Technology and Operations (GTO) department provides software development, IT support services, and banking operations. With a centralized and standardized technology infrastructure, GTO supports 19 countries with a secure and flexible banking architecture.
RequirementsThe ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field, with advanced degrees preferred. A minimum of 20 years of experience in Structured Trade Middle Office or similar roles is required, along with at least 5-10 years of leadership and project management experience.
Strong technical knowledge of Trade Finance, including UCP, ISBP, URC URR, ISP, URDG, MAS/ABS Guidelines, and experience in all areas of international trade is essential. A proven track record in managing teams and cross-functional projects is also necessary.
SalaryThe estimated salary for this role is $200,000-$250,000 per annum, depending on experience.
