Academic Support Specialist

We're seeking a dedicated individual to provide daily guidance and support to students, helping them navigate their academic journey.

  • Job Summary:
  • Counsel students on course transfers, grievances, and feedback.
  • Foster a positive learning environment by guiding students on their well-being and academic concerns.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Counselling or Psychology preferred.
  • Diploma with relevant working experience (part-time or volunteer) accepted.
  • Bilingual competency in English and Chinese.

About the Role:

This position involves managing attendance and disciplinary cases. You'll collaborate with student services, discipline master, academic department, and hostel staff to facilitate communication with external counsellors when necessary.

You will conduct daily counselling sessions with parents via video calls or digital tools like WeChat and Zoom, keeping them updated on their child's status in school and hostel.

In this role, you'll generate reports, conduct feedback and reviews, and perform in-depth analysis to inform proposed evaluations.

Administrative tasks will include thorough documentation, report writing, and other duties assigned by your supervisor.
