Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Contract Manager to join our team at EA Recruitment Pte Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing contracts and ensuring timely submission of progress claims, as well as monitoring and reporting on contract status and procurement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contract Management: Monitor and ensure timely submission of progress claims, including variations claims, receipt of valuation certificates, and finalization of main contract final accounts.
  • Procurement Management: Monitor and ensure timely issuance of sub-contracts and payment responses.
  • Contract Status Reporting: Monitor and report on contract status and procurement.
  • Cost Management: Monitor and manage project cost budget, changes, variations, revenue, and cash flows.
  • Contract Negotiation: Advise and resolve requests for equitable adjustments, contract supplies, and contract claims with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
  • Contract Compliance: Review contract documents, manage, and ensure contractual compliance and conformance.
  • Team Leadership: Communicate effectively with every member of the team, lead, check, and review quantity taking off, comparison prepared by the QS to ensure accuracy in quantity and specification, and ensure timely award of subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Sub-Contract Management: Lead, check, and review the sub-contract and ensure issuance accurately and timely.
  • Contract Claims: Support the formulation and negotiation of project contractual claims and counter claims.
  • Contract Analysis: Analyze all requirements and provisions in contracts, including terms and conditions, to ensure compliance with all laws and regulations and company policies and procedures.
  • Contract Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot contract-related problems, such as breach of contract.
  • Subordinate Training: Train, supervise, and guide subordinates in contract and commercial negotiations and communicate contract implementation to subcontractors.
  • Project Variation Control: Establish and maintain the project variation control system and manage negotiations in line with contract requirements.

  • Education: Diploma and/or degree above in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
