Geotechnical Design Expert

We are seeking an accomplished geotechnical design professional to lead our team in delivering high-quality engineering solutions for underground structures and deep excavations. The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking geotechnical engineering design, ensuring that all engineering deliverables meet client expectations and basis of design.

  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in geotechnical design, with experience in project coordination, submission to local authorities, and liaison during the construction stage.
  • Liaising with the engineer team, QP, and local authorities will be essential. The candidate will also need to liaise with clients, consultants, and authorities on technical matters.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years of design experience in geotechnical design for underground structures and deep excavations is required.
  • Candidates should be fast learners with high aspirations for professional growth. Collaborative and result-oriented natures are essential.
  • Able to interpret ground conditions and prepare Geotechnical Interpretative Reports, and familiar with geotechnical instrumentation and monitoring.
  • A degree in Civil Engineering recognized by the Professional Engineers Board of Singapore is necessary.
  • Good knowledge of various engineering design software and analytical tools.
  • Independent, organized, and positive work attitude.
  • Knowledge of design codes like Euro Code 2, 3, 7, and 8.
  • Good communication and presentation skills.
  • Effective team player.
