Job Title: Geotechnical Design Specialist

This role is part of a dynamic team responsible for geotechnical engineering design and tender projects. We are looking for experienced professionals to support our Director with collaborations such as LTA, PUB, and HDB.

Responsibilities:

  • Undertake geotechnical engineering design for MRT stations, buildings, and civil infrastructure, including underground structures and deep excavations.
  • Evaluate deliverables to meet client expectations and design basis.
  • Coordinate project submissions to local authorities and provide liaison services during construction.
  • Liaise with engineers, quality professionals, and local authorities.
  • Communicate technical matters with clients, consultants, and authorities.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior engineers.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in geotechnical design for underground structures and deep excavations.
  • The ability to learn quickly and strive for professional growth.
  • A collaborative and result-driven approach.
  • Familiarity with ground conditions, geotechnical reports, instrumentation, and monitoring.
  • Civil Engineering degree recognized by the Professional Engineers Board of Singapore.
  • Proficiency in various engineering design software and analytical tools.
  • An independent, organized, and positive work attitude.
  • Knowledge of design codes like Euro Code 2, 3, 7, and 8.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong teamwork abilities.
