Plant Laboratory Support Specialist

The School of Biological Sciences (SBS) is seeking a highly motivated and hard-working individual to support the lab activities of a plant research laboratory.
We are looking for a candidate with expertise in Arabidopsis genetics, plant molecular biology, Nicotiana benthamiana transient expression assay and microscopy background.
Key Responsibilities:- Contributing to various administrative tasks within the lab, including but not limited to safety and risk assessment, equipment maintenance, procurement, and other related duties
- BSc in Biological Sciences or related fields
- Prior lab experience in plant molecular biology, Nicotiana benthamiana transient expression assay, plant physiology, plant genetics, gene expression, microscopy
- Competency in standard plant molecular biology, plant genetics, plant physiology, gene expression, and Nicotiana benthamiana transient expression techniques
- Enthusiasm in plant biology research and suitability for teamwork
