Job Opportunity: Laboratory Operations Assistant
The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our science laboratories. This includes setting up the labs for lessons and science practical examinations, procuring and preparing materials as required, scheduling the use of laboratories by classes, and managing the dissemination of teaching resources to staff.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Set-up the science laboratories for lessons and science practical examinations
  • Procure and prepare materials according to lesson requirements
  • Schedule the use of laboratories by the classes
  • Manage the dissemination of teaching resources to staff
  • Catalogue all science resources such as lab inventory and teaching materials
  • Assist teachers to coordinate and manage science-related programmes such as invigilation of science practical examinations, Science Fair, etc.
  • Occasional tending of the school gardens, particularly the plants related to the teaching of science
Requirements:
  • GCE 'N' /'O' level qualifications or its equivalent
  • One (1) year working experience in a science laboratory environment, preferably in a school setting
Benefits:

Duration: 1 Jan 2026 to 30 November 2026

Salary: $1600/Month

Location: Bedok

Working Hours:

Mondays to Fridays: 7.45 a.m. to 1.45 p.m.

Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays
