About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team. As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for collecting blood specimens from patients using various techniques, ensuring timely and accurate results.
Key Responsibilities:- Collect blood specimens via venipuncture, capillary collection, and blood culture specimen collection methods.
- Adhere to established protocols for collecting blood specimens from infants, pediatric, and adult patients.
- Rotate duties between hospitals as assigned by management.
- Provide excellent patient care and exhibit genuine concern for patients.
- Responsible for overall performance of the location assigned.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- Hold a certificate in Phlebotomy and/or a recognized diploma in Nursing.
- Have at least 3 years of phlebotomy experience, particularly in pediatric/infant settings.
- Be able to travel between sites and the main laboratory.
- Possess supervisory experience in a similar industry (at least 3 years).
- Demonstrate good knowledge of phlebotomists' Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and best practices.
- Exhibit strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
