Phlebotomy Career Opportunities

We are seeking experienced and skilled phlebotomists to join our team in various locations across the island. As a phlebotomist, you will be responsible for collecting blood specimens from patients using different methods such as venipuncture, finger prick or heel prick. You will also ensure that patient identification matches official documents and comply with test requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect blood specimens from patients using appropriate techniques.
  • Verify patient identification and ensure compliance with test requirements.
  • Observe strict protocols for pre-blood collection, blood collection, and post-blood collection procedures.
  • Sort and label blood specimens for lab testing.
  • Provide excellent customer service and satisfaction.
  • Monitor and manage medical supplies inventory stocked by the phlebotomy team.
  • Maintain a clean and hygienic work environment.
Requirements:
  • Certificate in Phlebotomy.
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant hands-on phlebotomy experience.
  • Willingness to travel and work in outpatient settings.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  • Team player with positive attitude, diligence, and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to commit to 5.5 days (including public holidays and weekends).
Required Skills and Qualifications:

Patient care and safety are paramount in this role. To excel as a phlebotomist, you must possess strong interpersonal skills, inventory management capabilities, and the ability to collect blood specimens efficiently and safely.
