Job Title: Autism Support Specialist
Job Description:We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as an Autism Support Specialist. In this role, you will work closely with teachers to support students with autism in achieving their individualized goals and objectives.
As an Autism Support Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to assist teachers in lesson preparation and implementation, including conducting small group teaching sessions. You will also support teachers in collecting data on student behavior and progress, whenever necessary.
In addition to supporting teachers, you will collaborate with external stakeholders, such as families and community partners, to facilitate administrative processes and ensure the well-being and safety of students in our school.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support teachers in lesson preparation and implementation, including small group teaching sessions
- Collect data on student behavior and progress, as needed

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications:
- A minimum Diploma qualification (preferably in Early Childhood Care & Education)
- Prior experience as a Teacher Aide or in teaching would be an added advantage
- Energetic and passionate about working with children with autism
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
Desirable Qualifications:
- GCSE 'O' Level qualification (with at least 3 credits including a pass in English) and prior experience as a Teacher Aide or in teaching
