About the Role

The primary objective of this role is to develop and maintain software assets that form the frontend and backend application of our incubation products. The role is also expected to help with the overall maintenance of the API layer.

This involves collaborating with architects and software engineers to produce thoughtful software designs of large scope and high complexity. It also requires learning the system architecture of key integrations, configurations and upstream/downstream impacts in each workflow.

  • Analysing requirements, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to design scalable software solutions.
  • Learning and applying knowledge of system architecture to ensure seamless integration of different components.

Additionally, you will be responsible for taking a proactive role in continuous improvement, including tools, workflows and processes. This may involve identifying areas for improvement, implementing changes and evaluating their impact.

Technical skills required for this role include proficiency in Java (ES6/7) and other frontend fundamentals (HTML5, CSS3), as well as experience building microservices on Cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP). A strong background in event-driven architecture and NoSQL databases (MongoDB) is also necessary.

A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, including 3+ years as a Senior Full Stack Developer, is required for this position. You should have a degree qualification in IT or an Engineering discipline, as well as strong development and delivery experience with large-scale solutions.
