Job Title:
Software Architect Leader

As a Software Architect Leader, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative software solutions that meet the technical and business requirements of our clients. Your expertise in software architecture will enable you to craft architectural designs that fulfill project requirements and influence management decisions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with customers to understand technical and business needs and design software solutions that meet those needs.
  • Propose technical solutions, tools, and technologies that influence management decisions for customer projects.
  • Conduct hands-on design, delivery, and coding whenever necessary to deliver projects.
  • Design and develop common services and frameworks.
  • Define modules, tasks, and sub-tasks for designed features.
  • Provide workload estimation for customization, feature, component, and task levels.
  • Write software requirement specifications.
  • Write software detailed design specifications.
  • Forecast and inform risks/concerns on task, team, or project level and propose mitigation plans.
  • Support investigation and proposal of solutions/workarounds and bug fixes for production issues.
  • Conduct code reviews, coach, and influence teams for high-quality best-practice clean and secure code.
  • Actively support relevant teams during pre-sales phases, including technical analysis, feasibility analysis, solution design, POC design, and development.


Requirements:
To be successful as a Software Architect Leader, you must have the following qualifications and skills:
  • Degree or diploma in Information Systems, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering, or equivalent with at least 8 years' experience and 3 years' experience in Solution architect role.
  • Track record in delivering projects within timelines.
  • Experience working with production product/project delivery.
  • Good knowledge exposure to public cloud services (Azure, AWS), container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Good knowledge exposure in Relational, NoSQL databases, and object storage (S3).
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Self-driven and independent.
  • Strong work ethics and mindset towards high-quality software products.
  • Good team player who is open to sharing knowledge and possesses strong analytical skills.


Advantages:
Some experience with or good knowledge in the following areas will be advantageous:
  • Good understanding of microservices and event-driven architecture.
  • Experience working with AI-related solutions or integrations.
  • Experience in working with data engineering pipelines and database migrations.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and judgment with strong attention to detail.
  • Familiarity working with edge devices or embedded systems.
