Job Title: Senior Retail Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as a Senior Retail Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the profitable growth and development of our Retail, Motor business, Corporate Group Personal Accident (GPA) and Group Business Travel (GBT) portfolios.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop new products and propositions, negotiate and underwrite business within your risk acceptance authority, and provide advice on product coverage and underwriting intentions.

In addition, you will ensure risks are accepted and underwritten in accordance with company guidelines and ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulatory provisions, and group policies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive profitable growth and development of Retail, Motor business, GPA, and GBT portfolios.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop new products and propositions.
  • Negotiate and underwrite business within risk acceptance authority.
  • Provide advice on product coverage and underwriting intentions.
  • Ensure risks are accepted and underwritten in accordance with company guidelines.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulatory provisions, and group policies.
Requirements:
  • Experience in roles involving underwriting and product development of Personal Accident and Travel insurance.
  • Demonstrated success in designing and managing regional or global insurance programs is highly desirable.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive product innovation and market growth.
  • Strong knowledge of Retail, Motor, GPA, and GBT Insurance product development, underwriting, pricing, and claims.
  • Excellent digitalization savviness and portfolio management skills.
  • Knowledge of distribution channel structure and Singapore Insurance market.
