Job Title: Laser Production Technician
About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Laser Production Technician to join our team. As a key member of our production unit, you will be responsible for the manufacture and testing of lasers, laser sub-assemblies, and laser components.
Key Responsibilities:- Manufacture and test lasers, laser sub-assemblies, and laser components according to documented specifications.
- Troubleshoot fiber-based assemblies and laser diode issues.
- Perform fiber-based assembly and optical alignment to specification.
- Incorporate optical, mechanical, and electrical sub-assemblies into systems with thorough testing.
- Install and align optical, mechanical, and optical sub-assemblies into systems using precision instruments.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A Diploma in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical) or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of working experience in a related field.
- Technical competence in optical, mechanical, or electrical assembly.
- The ability to assemble mechanical, electrical, and optical subsystems.
- The ability to interpret technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with various abstract and concrete variables.
- Experience in troubleshooting technical issues.
