Urban Tree Stability Researcher

We are seeking a skilled researcher to join our team in Singapore. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tree biomechanics and a passion for improving urban tree stability.

  • Develop new technologies and methodologies to assess tree defects and root parameters in constrained urban spaces.
  • Conduct field and laboratory testing to evaluate research outcomes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to perform large-scale field work, including LiDAR scanning and root excavations.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's degree in tree biomechanics, civil engineering, forestry, arboriculture, ecology, plant physiology, or a related field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with scientific computing languages such as Python, R, or MATLAB.
