Job Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled individual to contribute to projects focused on improving tree structural stability in urban environments. This role offers a unique chance to make a significant impact on the development of sustainable urban forestry practices.

About the Position
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating with research stakeholders and greenery asset managers to plan and execute large-scale field work, including LiDAR scanning, root excavations, and static load testing.
  • This position requires strong data analysis and interpretation skills, as well as the ability to communicate complex research findings effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Requirements
  • Masters degree in a relevant field, such as tree biomechanics, civil engineering, forestry, or ecology.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas simply and clearly.
  • Experience with scientific computing languages, such as Python, R, or MATLAB, is highly desirable but not mandatory.
  • A team player with strong collaboration and interpersonal skills, able to work effectively with researchers, stakeholders, and other project team members.
