Urban Governance Specialist

The Centre for Liveable Cities is a knowledge centre under the Ministry of National Development with a mission to distil, create and share knowledge on liveable and sustainable cities.

You will help to curate impactful event experiences for global audiences across sectors and industries in the infrastructure and environment realm. This involves researching and proposing suitable themes, topics, formats, speakers and writers. Staff will work with global urban leaders and experts, as well as professional editors, designers, video producers and event organisers to deliver world-class content.

The role requires leadership experience in conference and event organisation, an interest in urban issues, and prior experience in related sectors such as architecture, planning, smart cities, urban governance, geography, economics and real estate. Good communication skills and ability to engage with senior officials or business leaders are also essential. Resourcefulness, self-motivation, teamwork and attention to detail are key qualities required for this position.

Key Responsibilities:
