Waste Management Project Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Waste Management Project Specialist to oversee the supervision and management of boiler retrofit works with a team of 120-150 workers. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing construction and maintenance activities within an operational waste-to-energy plant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage boiler retrofit works, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and industry standards.
- Oversee construction and maintenance activities, including refurbishment of boiler tubes and replacement of soot blowers.
- Liaise with clients to prepare daily schedules and progress reports.
- Coordinate and manage day-to-day operations and site workforce effectively.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- A minimum of 10 years' experience in waste-to-energy plants.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work with construction and maintenance workers on-site.
- Certifications in Building Construction Supervisor Safety (BCSS), Manage Work at Height, Supervisor Work in Confined Space, and Develop a Risk Management Implementation Plan (DRIMP).
