Job Title: Waste Management SpecialistAbout the Role:

To guarantee efficient plant operations, we seek a reliable and detail-oriented Waste Management Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all incoming waste is handled safely and efficiently.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with colleagues and other stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Inspecting incoming waste trucks at all times when they arrive at the reception hall
  • Controlling traffic flow and maintaining a queue of vehicles
  • Monitoring vehicle speed and reporting any incidents where the plant speed limit has been violated
  • Guiding trucks to discharge doors and inspecting refuse while unloading
  • Monitoring manual dumping on the crusher chute
  • Inspecting and observing plant systems and areas
  • Ensuring plant system operation within normal parameters and minimizing downtime
  • Maintaining a clean and tidy reception hall at all times
  • Performing housekeeping duties in the plant and floor areas
Qualifications:
  • Fluency in English
  • Willingness to work in an incineration plant environment
  • Secondary level education (qualifications specified in original text)
