Role Overview
Job Title: Senior Waste Management SpecialistWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Waste Management Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in waste treatment and management, with experience in conducting laboratory research and overseeing daily operations of waste treatment plants.
The successful candidate will be responsible for operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining processes and systems, as well as managing production schedules and maintaining production records. They will also prepare compliance reports, coordinate resources to ensure efficient process flow, and supervise and guide technicians and workers.
About the Role
- Conduct laboratory research and development on waste treatment technologies
- Oversee daily operations of waste treatment plants, including maintenance and repair of equipment
- Manage production schedules and maintain production records
- Prepare compliance reports and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements
- Coordinate resources to ensure efficient process flow and minimize waste
- Supervise and guide technicians and workers to ensure effective execution of tasks
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Engineering field (e.g., Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering)
- General knowledge of M&E systems and waste treatment technologies
- Proficiency in English; ability to communicate effectively in Mandarin an advantage
- Strong team spirit and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders
- Positive attitude, initiative, and strong learning ability
