Job Overview:

This key role forms the core team of technical specialists working at waste management facilities.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assist engineers in supervising construction progress, ensuring compliance with design specifications and statutory requirements.
  • Participate in testing, commissioning of mechanical, process, or electrical equipment/systems.
  • Attend factory acceptance tests to verify quality and performance of major equipment/systems.

The successful candidate will lead a unit of technical specialists and coordinate maintenance work between contractors and maintenance sections to ensure safe, smooth, and efficient operations of the waste-to-energy facility.

Key Requirements:

To succeed in this role, candidates must possess:

  • A degree in any Engineering course or Nitec in any Engineering course.
  • At least 3 years of relevant working experience for degree holders or 6-8 years for Nitec holders.
  • Professional certification is an added advantage.

Candidates should have a good technical background, strong analytical skills, knowledge in solid waste management, proficiency in Microsoft Office, Navisworks, and Primavera P6.
