Job Summary

The Food and Beverage Experience Manager is responsible for assisting in the daily operations of Restaurants/Bars and Room Service. This role assists with menu planning, maintains sanitation standards, and supervises staff during peak meal periods. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on guest satisfaction and maintaining the operating budget.

Candidate Profile

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent; 3 years of experience in food and beverage, culinary, or related field.

OR

• 2-year degree in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, or related field; 1 year of experience in food and beverage, culinary, or related field.

Key Responsibilities

Assisting in Restaurant Management

• Handles employee questions and concerns.

• Monitors staff performance and provides feedback.

• Assists in supervising daily shift operations.

• Participates in department meetings to communicate departmental goals.

Conducting Day-to-Day Restaurant Operations

• Ensures staff have proper supplies, equipment, and uniforms.

• Communicates with Chef and Restaurant Manager regarding food quality and service levels.

• Assists in ensuring compliance with restaurant policies and procedures.

• Monitors alcohol beverage service in compliance with local laws.

Providing Exceptional Customer Service

• Interacts with guests to obtain feedback on product quality and service levels.

• Supervises staffing levels to ensure guest satisfaction and financial objectives are met.

• Encourages staff to provide excellent customer service within guidelines.

Assisting in Human Resource Activities

• Supervises on-going training initiatives.

• Uses on-the-job training tools for staff.

• Communicates performance expectations to staff.
