Family Casework & Counselling Specialist

This is an opportunity to work with families and individuals in need, providing support and guidance to help them achieve healthy family functioning.

Casework involves working with clients to identify and assess their needs, developing a plan to address these needs and ensuring they receive the necessary support. This may involve conducting assessments, creating case plans, and coordinating services.

Counselling involves providing individual or group therapy to clients who are experiencing stress due to family-related issues. This may involve identifying and addressing underlying causes of stress, developing coping strategies, and promoting emotional well-being.

The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Counselling or a related field, as well as experience in casework and counselling. They will also possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct casework and counselling sessions with clients
  • Assess client needs and develop case plans
  • Coordinate services and referrals for clients
  • Provide training and supervision to junior staff members
  • Participate in research and evaluation projects to improve service delivery
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Counselling or a related field
  • At least 7 years of experience in casework and counselling
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
