Senior Publishing Specialist

Our organization seeks a highly skilled and experienced acquisitions editor to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about academic publishing and looking to make a meaningful contribution.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for acquiring new academic publications in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and expanding our portfolio by identifying new areas that complement our existing focus areas.
- Maintaining positive relationships with authors, reviewers, contributors, and colleagues across various divisions.
- Monitoring market trends and advising on future opportunities, risks, and challenges.
- Collaborating with colleagues in marketing and promotional activities as required.
To excel in this role, applicants should possess:
- A degree in a STEM field or related Pure and Applied Sciences.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Prior experience in academic publishing is preferred but not necessary.
