Automotive Service Advisor

We are seeking a proactive, customer-focused professional to join our automotive service team as a Customer Service Representative.
The ideal candidate will be the key link between our customers and workshop technicians, responsible for ensuring a seamless service experience from start to finish. You will be required to receive and review customer service files, conduct detailed consultations, analyse technical issues, and determine whether repairs are chargeable or complimentary.
You will be responsible for clearly explaining technical issues and proposed solutions to customers, providing cost estimates, obtaining approval, and managing job authorisation. Additionally, you will track and update customers on job progress and estimated completion times, prepare job cards, service reports, and final documentation, and coordinate smooth vehicle handover upon job completion. Your primary goal will be to ensure customer satisfaction throughout the service experience.
This role requires a Nitec in Automotive Engineering or equivalent qualification, with minimum 1-2 years of experience as a service advisor or in customer service in an automotive environment. You must have sound knowledge of vehicle systems and repair processes, strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills, well-organised with good time management and multitasking abilities, proficient in Microsoft Office and workshop management systems, and valid Class 3 driving licence.
