Overview
We are seeking a skilled Pharmaceutical Business Development Specialist to identify and engage new clients in the pharma and agritech sectors. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of relevant experience, a degree in biotech, life sciences, pharma, or agritech, and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and engage new clients across the pharma and agritech sectors.
- Build and nurture relationships with R&D teams, CROs, CDMOs, and strategic partners.
- Present and position tailored solutions from APIs and formulations to microbiome data insights.
- Translate technical information into compelling business presentations.
- Conduct market research, prepare proposals, and support client pitches.
- Collaborate with internal teams across technical, regulatory, and operations to deliver value to clients.
- Represent the company at trade shows, site visits, and industry events across the region.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of relevant experience (excluding internships/National Service).
- Confident in wearing multiple hats – BD, client-facing, and technical support.
- Clear communication skills, adaptability, and comfort delivering presentations using PowerPoint or similar tools.
- Self-motivated, agile, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
- Degree in biotech, life sciences, pharma, or agritech.
- Open to regional travel to meet clients and attend exhibitions.
