Job Title: Cross-Functional Technology Strategist
About the Role:
The ideal candidate will serve as a trusted advisor and technical architect, driving the development of cloud native applications. You will work closely with clients to understand their business needs and design robust infrastructure solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Determine client business expectations and confirm needs
- Design infrastructure and system architecture for cloud native solutions
- Convert system requirements into software architecture and design documentation
- Work with project managers and customers to manage resources, scope, and schedule
- Interface and coordinate tasks with module leaders to ensure smooth integration
- Lead development teams to develop and implement proposed cloud native applications
- Mentor junior technical staff
Prerequisites:
- Diploma or degree in computer science, computer engineering, or information technology related field
- Experience designing and delivering complex web-based applications using Java, HTML/Javascript, ReactJS, or relevant technology stack
- Experience with one or more database servers (Oracle, DB2, MSSQL, MySQL)
- Knowledge of open-source frameworks (Spring, Hibernate)
Desirable Skills:
- Offshore development experience
- Able to converse in Mandarin (added advantage)
- Will to travel for overseas assignments
